Cut from a pattern that is the result of as many consultations and fittings the cutter and client deem necessary and pieced together in-house by hand, a Richard James bespoke suit is a unique garment that, while always flattering, should also reveal something of the character of its owner. Richard James is known for the clean, slim lines of its tailoring, but with the bespoke service, the ultimate tailoring experience, the client naturally becomes the focal point of the design process and is never not encouraged to express himself. We will advise, but the final decisions about the fine detail of our bespoke suits are down to the client, which is how we ensure he really makes the suit his own.

Made-To-Measure

The Richard James made-to-measure service neatly bridges the gap between bespoke and ready-to-wear and offers the client a quick and efficient way to have a suit made to his own specifications. The client simply visits us for a fitting at the hands of one of our head cutters and discusses and chooses the style of suit and the fabric and particular buttons and lining that he would like. This is a streamline service that doesn't cut back on quality.
